The Rising Professional

Meet Chloe

Chloe is ambitious and excels in her role, but the pressure to always be "on" is becoming exhausting. She struggles to switch off after work and finds her sleep is suffering. Your Journey to Sustainable Performance

Understanding Wellbeing and Building Resilience is an interactive, half day workshop that provides evidence based tools to help you thrive in a high pressure world.

In this session, you will:
Group 55

Explore the neuroscience of stress

and understand how your brain
responds to pressure.

Group 53

Learn to recognise the early signs of strain

before you reach your tipping point.

Group 51

Master practical, evidence based micro practices

to build resilience and regulate
your emotions daily.

Group 49

Distinguish between passively coping

with challenges and proactively
navigating change.

Group 47

Develop a personal resilience toolkit

to use in moments of stress and uncertainty.

You will leave with practical strategies for managing your mind and a clear plan to maintain performance without sacrificing your health.

This is not about abstract theory; it is about practical action and real results.

The modern workplace is defined by accelerated change and high expectations. Professionals who can manage their own wellbeing are better equipped to lead, innovate and inspire. By investing in resilience, you not only enhance your own career sustainability but also contribute to a healthier, more effective team culture. Organisations that prioritise these skills see reduced burnout, stronger retention and teams that remain connected and effective during periods of uncertainty.

Matt Fen

Matt Fenn is a wellbeing and performance speaker who works with organisations to help leaders and teams build the foundations of sustainable high performance. Drawing on insights from performance psychology, leadership development, and behavioural science, Matt’s work focuses on how people think, operate, and perform under pressure. Through keynotes, workshops, and programmes, he helps teams strengthen the underlying drivers of performance – resilience, mindset, leadership, and culture – enabling people to perform at the top of their game consistently while maintaining wellbeing.

Matt’s perspective on performance is grounded in both research and lived experience. His endurance challenges – including running over 3,400km across New Zealand and completing multiple large-scale fundraising events for mental health initiatives – have given him a unique insight into resilience, sustained effort, and navigating pressure over long periods of time. Today, he brings those lessons into organisations across New Zealand and Australia, translating them into practical strategies that help leaders and teams perform at their best.
